Yes because the kids in cherry hill are also spoiled. Get a grip man, go listen to some legislative oversight hearings if you want to hear some in depth analysis. Don’t expect that on comms like this…

And I’m sure you’d be saying how great this was if the situation was reserved and they were ticketing chronic offenders on your drive.

The new Rec center in cherry hill? The Middle branch reimagining project? Generally all organizations (govt or not) tend to advertise “the good” they are doing. You tend to only hear about the nicer neighborhoods because that’s where the majority of this sub live.

Wait, do I not understand the conduit deal? My understanding is that it wasn't a sale, just a change in who provides maintenance, which is currently leased out to a different company.

>Years ago council members had full time jobs in addition to being the council rep. It’s absurd these council reps have no other source of income, do very little for the areas they represent, and expect a full pension after eight years.

I don't want my councilmember to have another obligation- I want them full time committed to me and my needs as a constituent.

I just don't see how anyone would think that this would be the case, a councilmember nonetheless. We can look at the census data and see which neighborhoods are growing and which aren't. A developer would be pretty stupid if they think "Lets build where there is no demand".

I don't understand Torrence's argument. My impression is that Dorsey's bill is city wide, but Torrence seems to say otherwise? Or is it just the covenants that prohibit its application in certain areas? That seems like a separate issue that needs to be tackled and shouldn't hold up this bill.

Also, if Torrence believes this destroys wealth, what is his message to the neighborhoods that already permit this? Tough shit? You don't get to build wealth? Almost seems like a scapegoat

Bring the Wizards and Caps minor league teams to Baltimore. It could both expand the fanbase for the teams and act as a proving ground for major league initiatives.

Man, this really broke my heart. It really sucks and you didn’t deserve that. Are you on the “buy nothing” Facebook group? People will post their unneeded pots and pans there a lot. You could also request it on the page. Stay safe!

I feel you, that's a legit reason. But towers have shown time and time again that they will not operate in good faith and have no plans on changing.

Permitted to park but half an inch over the line? Towed. Oh yea and they've damaged your car in the process and will make it impossible for you to retrieve it. All while charging an illegal amount.
