I'm glad the younger generation still watches it. If you liked it I would recommend his better adaptations

"Something Wicked this way Comes"

"Fahrenheit 451"

"The Martain Chronicles"

Honorable mention also goes to Ray Bradbury Theater (I know this is TV) but there are a couple of episodes that are certainly worth a watch.

Shaw's scene on the holodeck is the best scene set on a holodeck since Relics. I don't know how they pulled it together this season but THIS is what a show named Picard should have been like.

Shaw's characterization was great one man at least who wasn't fawning over the old admiral...at least now we understand the reason why.

Of all the crappy video game but now its a movie movies I dragged my poor mother to in the 90s Street Fighter was the best. I know that is a fairly fluid definition when you are up agianst Double Dragon and Super Mario brothers but the spirited performance by Raul Julia is what saves it. Not going to win any awards surely but the film is at least watchable because of General Bison.

It is a close contest between the History Channel and TLC. The winner would have to be TLC used to be fun and interesting and have really cool programs about science but when it made the switch to reality TV in an attempt to boast ratings most of the other networks followed.

Sure there are bad things about Discovery and History but Pawn Stars, Ax Men and Ice Road truckers would never have been a thing unless TLC proved it could be profitable. And as much as I hate History Channel programming 95% of the time at least they never pitched Toddlers and Tiaras as a concept.

Seriously anyone who pitched the concept of T&Ts never needs to be in charge of producing a television show ever again.

Someone already said it but St. Elsewhere is worth a look its on Hulu. Along with Hill Street Blues it was one of the first shows to break the episodic week by week formula that has been so common up to that point. It actually laid the groundwork for many things that are common now.

Gets alot of shit for its ending which is totally warranted
