It’s a damn shame Disney have no clue how to market their properties for awards season(as evidenced by how they fumbled the Oscar race for West Side Story and The French dispatch, instead trying to get Oscar voters to like Eternals and Black Widow) because it would be fun for Andor to be a legitimate contender and I would argue is the most deserving of the shows that have been released so far.

I know that people here are clowning on the article but I think it is worth talking about. Another more egrigous example of HBO shoehorning incest is in Rome(2005) where >!Octavian has sex with his sister!<

This almost certainly didn't happen since

1. Romans weren’t all that tolerant of incest

2. When >!Octavian became emperor!< he was pretty pious based on how he treated his daughter after she committed adultery.
