Reply to Leatherman Wave+ Remains to be seen as so far I've only bought it for five days of life but I'm optimistic by Dartmouthest
Leatherman Wave is one of the most famous multitools. Les Stroud brought it into pop culture in his Survivorman show. Here's an episode where it features prominently but there's many others. Also if anything should happen to it, Leatherman has a 25 year warranty https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U6hU7d3yW10

Doesn't Leatherman have a 25 year lifetime warranty?

Reply to Have 1500 to spend (must be on a good/service) - can’t be on stocks or converted to cash by BlarkinsYeah
Wow I would use $1500 for new shoes + boots, maybe a new bed or chair if you need one, stuff you're going to use often. Or nice sunglasses to protect your eyes from UV. I can't imagine spending $1500 on a pottery wheel... and don't even know what the second thing is - a musical instrument?

Buy something with a mesh seat like a Herman miller. They have like a 12 year warranty, so you can basically 'amortize' the cost over that time period, most people find them very comfortable, and you wouldn't want to sit on your foot on a mesh chair. Also you should probably consider if there's a psychological/behavioural reason why you're using that body language which is very submissive.

Reply to My fellow Canadians, I need help finding the perfect pillow. I am a side sleeper, sleeping on medium firm mattress by wkosloski
I bought the Canadian Down and Feather perfect pillow (firm model) 3 years ago and it's held up quite well. Currently on sale for $65. For me it's still not enough support, so I fold up a thin fleece blanket or towel and put that under it. Works great. https://www.canadiandownandfeather.com/products/down-perfect-pillow?variant=6457862083¤cy=CAD&utm_medium=product_sync&utm_source=google&utm_content=sag_organic&utm_campaign=sag_organic&gclid=Cj0KCQiAg_KbBhDLARIsANx7wAxiQrEAs-gwvt-bKEJDbICeMeRss3tncS5ldg1BmsKj67s0dgEcay0aAvB9EALw_wcB

Reply to Backpack that can carry 100 pounds by Smoothlarryy
You may want to look into Nutnfancy's older backpacking videos and gear reviews. Probably the models discontinued but the principles could be applied to packs today. He was a big proponent of external frame for larger packs. He's the only other person I've ever heard talk about carrying 100 lbs in a backpack before: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ynIlrp3r_zY&list=PLogYo97B9UOfDaqOIdI0d9IYLAGoSHdl_&index=3
