Reply to Billions Poised to End With Season 7 at Showtime, Co-Star Dan Soder Reveals by DemiFiendRSA
When Season 1 aired it was my most favourite show at the time, and I was praising Showtime wherever I go. That time was just... amazing for cable TV. We got Ray Donovan, Billions, Homeland and House of Lies. And those show were just... awesome! I absolutely loved everything about Season 1 and 2 of Billions. But after the plotline with Bobby and his wife, the whole thing just goes into bad direction. And every season after that was just... worse then the previous. I stop watching after first part of Season 5 and will return to complete it, after they will be done with it. But man, it's just a shame that even with all the current events (like we all see what's going on on wall street, covid, Ukraine and crypto, AI etc.) they just cannot stay relevant and make good show about money and stocks, just like Vince Gilligan did a great job of making show about drugs! It's a shame, even more with so stellar cast.
I hope it will get proper, satisfying ending, but right now I think, they've already screwed all the characters way to much to make it good.

Reply to "Shrinking" is making me realize Hollywood fucked up by not putting Harrison Ford in more comedy roles. His dead pan comedic timing is impeccable and hilarious. by Bluest_waters
We don't need another DeNiro which career is f**ked up by the amount of bad comedy flicks. Ford do some good or mediocre, like Morning Glory which is really fun movie.

And more movies with Robin Williams.
Fifty years from now there will be a really solid AI software, to which you write ,,Make a movie directed by Quentin Tarantino, with script from Aaron Sorkin, music by John Williams, happening in Wild West 1868, about four hours long, with cast of actors such as Clint Eastwood (30s), John Wayne (50s), Gregory Peck (40s), Katharine Hepburn (30s), Scarlett Johansson (30s), Humphrey Bogart (50s), Leonardo DiCaprio (40s), Harrison Ford (30s)... set in the whole America, with a short part happening in Mexico."
I see it.

Reply to New Poster for 'Creed III' by MarvelsGrantMan136
Creed was the best possible ,,restart/reboot" in movie history. Cooglar, Jordan and Sly did amazing job on every single level. With the best possible music from Ludwig... It was the movie of the year, the greatest homage for all the fans of Rocky franchise. I still cannot decide whatever I love more Rocky, Rocky Balboa or Creed. But maybe that was it. They should have stop. Or at least for another ten years...
Creed 2 was the worst possible Rocky movie. It's even worse than Rocky V which is really bad movie. Creed 2 goes against all the principles of how Rocky movies should be structured. It miss all the opportunities to make it really great, stunning and emotional. Sometimes it even doesn't make any sense. It doesn't even have the cinematography of the first one, the feeling, depression or really moving music (hip-hop/rnb). It was really a disaster. (And now this director should restart the TF franchise... oh, good luck)
So now I think Creed 3 won't be worse than that. But everything suggest it will be a really mediocre movie, and I would love to be wrong. I will be more than happy if Jordan's debut will be a fire. But the trailer didn't convince me much. It looks just ,,I created a monster, now I need to beet him". But it's all too ,,black". I don't want to be rude or something. I love all the actors in it (like Jordan is my favourite, Tessa is fantastic and Jonathan looks like a future of movie industry), but Rocky's franchise was always about everyone... mostly black and white persons. In the latest trailer for Creed III, there are no white people... Rocky franchise is very popular in Europe, but this will flop here immidiately. My parents are huge fans of this whole franchise. They even go to the premiere of Creed and Creed II, but this one will miss.

BoJack Horseman. That was a sure crazy ride.
And The Crown. I would love to discuss all the historical topics they must know and trying to figure it out, how to tell them.

I cryed a lot while watching all 5 seasons of Chuck. Mostly Season 3 and 5 are heartbreaking in many ways. So many montages are made from this show.
Then of course HIMYM, which made love accessible for many ,,teenagers". Grey and Shephard in Grey's Anatomy. Of course Castle was a great detective show with really good romance plot. Love Life, which really reminds me 90s movies. Of course ,,The Affair". The Newsroom (Will and MacKanzie). Sex and the City as all time classic.
Recently - ,,Feel Good" has a unique vibe. Homeland has some love-stories in it. Don't forget on Normal People with Paul Mescal. But I found the relationship in it too much toxic and unbelievable, so after few episodes it kinda lost me. Oh, and Pachinko was really great!

I would say Reacher. Really surprising action-thriller show, with fantastic pace, great cast, characters and the whole direction. I really enjoy the fort season and cannot waited for next one. It really reminds me Banshee.
Then Legend of Vox Machina also on Prime. Really funny animated fantasy series. And probably only watchable fantasy on Prime. Really good.
Pachinko, Apple did wonderful job with this Korean drama on which also worked Kogonada.
Another really good stuff - How To With John Wilson, Dave, Mythic Quest, Perry Mason, Severance...
And then Andor. Currently the best live-action series from Star Wars Universe with really good atmosphere, and cast.

Reply to Cyberpunk 2077's Turnaround Just Gave CD Projekt Its Second-Best Revenue Year Ever by JamesAsher12
Last year I bought stocks of CD Projekt Red because I thought that they have the worst behind and now with Witcher 3 Remaster, Cyberpunk Next Gen and Expansion, they will became profitable and stocks will go up.
Yet I still losing about 40%. Which is my record. Even in these times. So I still hope that Witcher 4 or Cyberpunk 2 will make my investment worthy.
