We actually had Yamaha (something). It was a bagger and on the quiet side compared. I’m no biker and nor do i want to be one. So before people pass judgment as they always do, maybe they should get the full knowledge of who I am. But people can’t do that, they prefer to go off half cocked bitching. We rode down, grabbed fries and left,,,we didn’t act like douches. We typically rode all back roads up through northern Maine. Found out of the way places to eat and went back home. People hear motorcycle and they jump to conclusions. In the 80’s it was really bad, motorcycles everywhere, we got drunk, didn’t have a bike until our 50’s. Big fights all the time.

I’m 62f and people have been shitting on OOB since I can remember. But it wasn’t necessarily OOB itself, it was the Canadians and their tiny bathing suit, very robust women with a tube top on. Drunk ass men. You tell people you live in OOB and you get a funny face. We took our motorcycle and rode the streets, bought pier fries and left.

VIP is soooo bad, I had a Honda that they replaced the brakes and rotors , I said I want to see them. I took them to another place and asked if they look bad, he said no. I left and demanded my money back. That was 2007, Portland. Then when my mother passed in 2016, I got her car, Toyota. She always went there and did whatever they told her to do. So I went to the one in Gorham, it was fine, just needed an oil change. I drove home with a noise in the tire. My husband took the tire off and found a piece of foil jammed in the brake area. I was sooo pissed. Haven’t been back since. Our youngest took is 2017 Nissan to them last year in Biddo, they told him he needed $5000 worth of work. I said…don’t move dad and I are on our way. (My step father knew his shit when it came to cars and raised me the same way). We went down and I told them, give me the car…we are leaving. Took it to a friend of our oldest and he fixed it for a fraction of the cost.

However, it is very hard to find someone who won’t screw you over. Sullivan Tire is the same way…

Low income people will find absolutely NOTHING they can afford in that area of Freeport that they can walk to. No grocery store. Sam's sandwich shop and that s it. Nothing!! There is no Goodwill. No Walmart. Freeport wouldn't let a McDonalds move in to town for the longest time and then they reached a compromise, they could go to the other end, after Beans BUT they had to use an already existing building and it couldn't look like McDonalds. Have you been to Freeport? Do you know the area? | have lived here my whole life (62f) and have been to Beans many times and the traffic can be horrendous. There are no buses. I don't mind low income housing. I don't even care if it's in my backyard. I'm not a NIMBY…however...you don't install something where those who can't afford to live in that area...a place to live. You don't give poor people a house unless they can do the upkeep. Trust me...I was there. We had a house and we didn't have the extra cash to keep it up so it went to shit.

PS…it’s not really a ‘downtown’ like Portland or Gorham.

I’ve never ever seen a dog lick something in a grocery store….that’s gross, I would not lick anything in a grocery store. Definitely not healthy for a dog either. People walking in with what have you on their shoes….good lord.
