VIP is the worst. Changed rotors on a three year old Honda. They weren’t even bad, so I took them back and told them they did work I didn’t need done. They look for stuff. Then years later, I had my mothers car and it needed an inspection so I took it there as it was available. They stuck a piece of metal in the brake pad. I saw them looking and looking at the engine (not needed for inspection) and I knew. Car never gave me issues until I drove it from that place. Never went back.

Thank you, That could be. I don’t remember much, even though it was 2019, as I didn’t attend, I was on the mainland taking pictures. It was muddy and I was kneeling in mud snapping pictures of everyone getting on the helicopter. The Grooms father either knows someone who bought this place or he did and restored it.

I can’t stand them. Downtown Gorham is peppered with the and it’s just a mess if you ask me. I agree, if people are voting a sign doesn’t change their mind. Just a waste of money. Plus, that many signs can be considered a distraction.

I’ve been guilty of this. Been driving south on 95 twice a month and then back. When you set it on cruise, you just drive. But lately I’ve noticed that I’ll be going the speed limit and everyone else is going ten over. It would be nice if people didn’t need to go at break neck speed.

Edit…I leave the far right lane for truckers, campers and grannies. I like the middle lane. The far left is for idiots who need to go fast.

I’m a 62 yr old female, never in my life have I put snow tires on any of my cars. My husband is 72 and never had snow tires either. The best thing…drive slower when it snows, not just because you might skid, but others are idiots. When my car goes into a skid, I let go and just go with it. Our tendency is to control it, trust me, you can’t. I had a stick shift Honda Accord and in 2011 my husband and I were driving from Bangor back to Gorham. We saw more than 14 cars off the road or in an accident along the way on 95. Just plain tires and we were fine. And that car was a bitch in the snow.

They all lie, as lying is not partial to one party. People lie in general. That being said, I am not a fan of her, I don’t hate her but I just didn’t like her when she was AG. However, she has pretty much stayed true to her word and if she keeps that up, I hope she gets back in. Politicians need to stop promising free things and take care of the state. But, that’s me and everyone gets to have their own opinion.

I have often seen both Red Tail Hawk and bald Eagles on 295 after Portland, heading North, on the water side. Though this isn’t necessarily the time of year for the Hawk as some fly south for the winter months. My husband and I saw 17 Hawks driving South on 95 (between Scarborough and Mass) taking our grandson to Mass, one year. But we always see them in the Spring, that is a actually a great place to see them.

I was born and raised in Maine, after graduating in 1979, I moved to Mass for ten years, came back to Maine and will never ever live in Mass again. They’ve always acted like their shit don’t stink.

We typically see firewood for sale around my area, but haven’t seen any. The place on 237 heading to Windham is gone and the place on 202 out past Limington rapids is gone. The man we used to buy from in Windham passed a few years back. Try finding bricks, they burn fairly well.
