My great aunt was a WASP pilot, made it through the war years, ended up dying in a plane crash in the 50’s. My understanding is that she was flying from Chicago to KC, got into some heavy/ low clouds, didn’t trust her instruments, and ended up in a corn field.

I know this conflict is still VERY real and unfolding, but watching the invasion happen in real time over social media was so surreal.
