That's true, and maybe I'm wrong, but I also perceive some kind of weariness surrounding this genre. People used to be hyped for Avengers. Was anyone really hyped for Thor 4 ?

Maybe that is what's happening : an "atomization" of popular genres. That would be coherent with the current mentality.
