Can confirm VF has gone majorly downhill. Worked for The North Face for several years. Not only is their gear getting worse, they are terrible employers.

Chances are it will still be deemed under warranty for repair/replacement. However any limited edition pieces or fabrics may not be repaired with the same, or if they go the full replacement route it will likely not be a limited edition bag.
