Wish someone would sell them around here. I did some maintenance work at Cozy Harbor in Portland and there was a lady there who would bring me a mountain of them for $10.

Industrial trades are a nightmare. Chasing work, ridiculous hours, yeah the pay is great and benefits are phenomenal but you're a slave to the trade and hope you live long enough to enjoy your pension and annuity. I left the boilermakers to take care of my kids but I worked a 5 month job that turned into 2 years. 13 hours a day, 7 days a week with only Thanksgiving and Christmas off. It was supposed to be 12s but the plant wanted an hour turnover to so they wouldn't lose a second of work.

Shit I pay 100 each month through Verizon with a $10 credit for autopay. But work reimburses me or else I would cancel in a heartbeat. What pisses me off is the smartphone access surcharge which is 20 or 30 I can't remember.

That person could have something serious that gets priority. Maybe they just gave themselves an epi-pen. You don't really know what's going on.

I went to Great Bear for a once in a lifetime fishing trip. It's so remote up there that even tourist are in short supply and one of the people who booked at the same lodge was the father of my best friend from middle school. They moved away before we started high school.

BIW will chew you up and spit you out unless you apprentice for the right trade. If there aren't apprentice opportunities for pipefitters, operators, sprinkler fitters, milllwrights, boilermakers don't do it. If you get stuck doing a job like painting, laborer it's hard to move and it will fuck you up. Every job is hard and physical but they aren't going to wear you out if they are investing in you long term, plus you can take those hours and apply them somewhere else or to a different trade if (when) you decide.
