This very heavy substance that was used in a variety of manners throughout the home and farm … inside plumbing was sealed with lead, firearms used lead projectiles, fishermen used lead weights, etc. Lead can be easily melted and shaped and imprinted with wording.

Reply to Matilda the musical by FunnyPleasant7057
I took our youngest daughter to see Matilda the Musical on stage because she loved the original movie. It was her first exposure to quality live theater and it blew her away. It inspired her to volunteer with the tech crew for the drama group when she got to college.
I’m glad to know they’ve reworked the original source material into a musical on film. We may need to watch it while Christmasing together next weekend.

Polaroids …. fancy! Although there was something wonderful about putting the developing sleeve in my bra when taking Polaroids on cold days.

VR headsets make me want to puke … disconnect between eyes and ears is too disorienting. Brain is an old model and ineligible for updates.
Coordinating an app and the bike is more functionality than I need. I may experiment with YouTube videos and play speed.

Not interested in expensive exercise apps … I just want something motivating to watch while I peddle in place.

I’d have to hire a teenager to wear a GoPro and ride through town … too many hills and it’s 20* out there right now.

The apps I’ve seen do big cities … I’m thinking little town where Google Maps does a street view …
I haven’t looked into them recently but perhaps I’ll see what new stuff has come along.

I want one where I can ride my stationary bike at home and watch the streets of my hometown pass by… without paying a lot for the privilege
