Maybe try reading it with a friend? Tbh, Atomic Habits was the first self-help book I've ever read. When I started it, I didn't believe I could finish it. Me and my friend, we used to read 2-3 chapters together and discuss it. Trust me, it works. You'll get to exchange ideas on how a certain trick mentioned in the book can be implemented in your life.
