In the under 35 crowd, no animosity towards the Cowboys, just their fanbase for being obnoxious in general.
For the under 35 Niners crowd, the main rivalry is definitely with the Seahawks. Sorry, the Bitch Pigeons.

The guy you're replying to is probably very young and is clouded by recency bias.
Washington has one of the largest fanbases historically. If you ask a lot of fans in their 40s and 50s, there's a very good chance that they're a Commie fan because of the Hogs and the Scabs in the 80s and 90s.
Until Baltimore got a team again, the now-Commies had a huge foothold in the DMV area.

With the increasing evidence that CTE exists in soccer players, you could argue that you should stay away from that too.
You can heal from broken bones, ligaments and tendons but brain damage is pretty much irreversible.

That’s because of alcohol purchases.
A few years ago, you could go in and out of a college football game to drink a beer or two at your tailgate at halftime and return to your seat. Not the case since they started selling beer in the stadium.
