Winter moths! There's more of them than usual this year for sure!

I also run really warm and the idea of wearing long underwear and wool sweaters make me immediately feel itchy and hot and claustrophobic, so take my advice with a grain of salt lol.

I agree with this! You definitely do not need the long underwear if you're just going indoors immediately!

You do need a winter coat for sure, but definitely a variety of coats/vests. A vest would be fine for quickly going from the car/to the store. If you run warm, a floor-length down jacket on a 55 degree day will be torture. I see people wearing very heavy down jackets and scarves/hats/mittens when it's 55 and all I can think is how much they must smell lol. I recommend a couple of winter coats in different degrees of warmth. I wear a fleece jacket most of the time (with a hat and gloves) and it does fine for most weather. Again, I am not doing winter camping/outdoor sports and I don't wear it when it's 20 degrees. If you are a very outdoorsy person you will need much different gear.

Yeah not realistic...I just looked up a Hampton Inn near me in Portland (on the non-desirable end of Portland) and the rates are 180- 200 for a Saturday night in November.

The Royal River Park in Yarmouth is a paved path (mostly) in the woods. The Greenbelt trail in South Portland is paved and some is wooded (the stretch between Broadway and Wainwright Park).

Yes I had a co-worker tell me how much he loves morning drive time shows and I don't understand it at all. I pay for Sirius XM partially just to avoid all the talking lol.
