You could say that modern technologies also enable the other direction. The article mentions The Arab Spring and this was largely coordinated through social media.

Every petrol car sold in the UK since 2006 wouldn't have to pay this fee so it really is just keeping old polluting bangers off the road.
Diesel is 2015 so only 7-8 years there but given particulates and NOx in old models this seems pretty pragmatic to me.

Seems to kick in a little quick for an injection in to muscle. That doc also seems to whip out the needle almost immediately and the mother didn’t seem to resist it. Injecting someone against their will requires them to be either overpowered or submissive.
Think she’s just absolutely drained herself and destroyed from misery.
