My first guess would be shoplifting and prostitution on the Berlin Turnpike. Maybe street racing too.

Supposedly if you have the number you are good. Never tested the theory.

Always been a fan of Phoenix Ink in Southington. Originally Jay, the owner, but the other folks he has in there are also very good.

Been forever since I’ve been, but Hometown Pizza in Prospect was my favorite pizza for a while. It was Albanian (although they still decorated Italian…)

It’s easy to throw shade at these folks, but you never know if they were parking next to someone else who started it, and the original car left…
Edit: meant this less as a defense and more as a warning not to park wrong because of someone else (if you can avoid it).

That’s interesting, sorry to hear that. It definitely felt slow to us but overall was probably less than 2 months from finishing the classes. The slowest part was always the fingerprinting.
I’m guessing they’re understaffed, because working at DCF sucks. What office are you working with?

I have quite a bit of experience, across two states. Adopted 3 boys through it (one was extremely complex and doesn’t officially count though). I’ll admit a lot of my experience is pre-covid though.
What part of the “process” are you actually in?

There’s no way Middletown is worse than Meriden or New Britain, never mind places like Bridgeport.

because it’s only releasing CO2 that was captured by the tree in the first place. In theory.
Maybe the same amount of CO2 comes out via natural rot vs burning?

Most of the country sees pizza as childish junk food alongside chicken nuggets, etc. NY pizza is probably the top version of this that there is.
Here, though, pizza is actual food. We have New Haven style, Greek style, and in a few pockets you can find a classic Italian style like my grandpa used to make. We still have NY style and other junk food styles as well, of course.
The weirdest thing is when a pizza place claims to be one style and is actually another, though…

I got the kebabs here and they made all of the ones I’ve ever grilled myself look terrible in comparison.
Everything (all the entrees and apps we got) was cooked to a degree of perfection I didn’t even know was possible.
