People might not be so upset if they didn’t spend the time and money to amplify the jets. They’re loud enough already.

Edit for the dense: the post says "Residents should anticipate the amplified sound of these low-flying aircraft" but means "Residents should anticipate the high amplitude sound of these low-flying aircraft." The former means that something has been done to increase the volume.

After looking at that subreddit and his posts, my assumption was that it was a karma farm: post a thousand 1-sentence new submissions, get them upvoted a half dozen times by bot accounts or other subreddit posters, and you've got several thousand post karma. Keep that up for a few weeks and you're into the hundreds of thousands, and then you leverage that to, say, ask to be made a mod of a legitimate subreddit.

And I willingly agreed to do so, once you prove your claim that you’d understand the research, since that’s in doubt based on the above. To use your analogy, you say there are 150 ft. salamanders outside, I insist you show research that the earth is flat, and you pause and ask if I’m an idiot and would even understand the concept of research, much less the specifics you’re asking for.

Accordingly, please provide the requested paragraphs. Once you’ve demonstrated that we’re having a discussion on good faith between reasonable people, I will present my research. If you cannot, I can only assume that we’re not having such a discussion, in which case I’m certainly not obligated to do all the work for you.

Happily, but first, you have to demonstrate to me that you understand Venn diagrams and Boolean logic. Because I’m arguing that the populations do intersect, but that the market is A∩B, not AUB. If you would please provide a paragraph on each type of set and a paragraph discussing their distinctions, I’ll supply the requested research. I’d hate to waste both of our time if you couldn’t understand, you see.

It’s a terrible idea. Most of the clientele of a dispensary would not be interested in strippers, so you end up reducing your patronage, not increasing it. Even the guys who would be interested will assume that prices will be higher than at the dispensary down the street, and there’s no alcohol or dancing to make up for it.

A night club with weed, alcohol, and live music would be a great thing. But a dispensary plus tits is like a restaurant plus tits - your market is a subset of the restaurant market, not a combination of “people who are hungry” and “people who like tits”.

It's a Biblical tradition, dating back to King Solomon - you bake a baby into a cake and then attempt to cut it in half. At least, that's how ChatGPT described it.

Here's the as-amended version:

>(b) (effective November 8, 2022)
Any principal, headmaster, superintendent or person acting as a decision-maker at a student meeting or hearing, when deciding the consequences for the student, shall consider ways to re-engage the student in the learning process; and shall not suspend or expel a student until alternative remedies have been employed and their use and results documented, following and in direct response to a specific incident or incidents, unless specific reasons are documented as to why such alternative remedies are unsuitable or counter-productive, and in cases where the student’s continued presence in school would pose a specific, documentable concern about the infliction of serious bodily injury or other serious harm upon another person while in school. Alternative remedies may include, but shall not be limited to: (i) mediation; (ii) conflict resolution; (iii) restorative justice; and (iv) collaborative problem solving. The principal, headmaster, superintendent or person acting as a decision-maker shall also implement school- or district-wide models to re-engage students in the learning process which shall include but not be limited to: (i) positive behavioral interventions and supports models and (ii) trauma sensitive learning models; provided, however, that school- or district-wide models shall not be considered a direct response to a specific incident.

>Wherever you end up; make at least a couple of neighbor acquaintances, they may not act friendly at first, but will also probably help dig you out and help you if it decides winter is still a thing here.

They won't introduce themselves to you - that would be unthinkably intrusive and rude. But if you start the conversation, they'll continue it.
