Same here. I am used to it by now. Pretty sure it is because the alerts typically come through at a higher volume than what you currently have on whatever you are doing. I’m assuming it’s not easy to have two different things make noise at different volume levels. I could be wrong, I am just assuming

Depends on what you want. For best camera and newer features go with the 14 Pro or Pro max. I’m assuming money is no issue being you already overpay for your laptop so an extra couple hundred over previous year phone is easily affordable. If so, definitely worth it.
