If you’re mouth is on fire and you want to get a glass of milk to stop it, a little vinegar of some kind helps to break down the oils in the sauce

It also stops hot sauce from burning as bad better than most things.

Reply to LPT: boil rice until it’s almost fully cooked, drain, then return to pan, cover and steam on low heat for 10 mins. Tastes much better than boiling, draining and serving. by circumlocutious

Bro didn’t realize he had no idea how to make rice until he tried to make a LPT to help others make it not completely suck lol. Also, a cheap rice cooker is a great convenience.
