If you've got your heart sent on new construction
Oller building Co (currently building in Ozark and SW Springfield)
Bussell building co (nixa , battlefield and republic)
C&L builders (ozark)
Turner/wolf development (nixa , willard and ozark)
I've been a realtor in our market for 8 years and these are the builders I'd reccomend.

Nothing special feels like a generic IHOP
I'd pick gaileys , morning day cafe or Cedars over Jimmy's egg any day of the week.

Depends on your preference for General chicken. If you like heat I'd say make it at home.
Most of the general ive found in the area is more sugary than spicy

I am a Realtor in the area (not a commercial!)
The right spot will depend heavily on what you want your lifestyle to look like.
Springfield is the 3rd largest city in the state if you want a more urban feeling (even though it feels small in comparison to STL or KC) then Springfield is great. Hickory Hills to the East and (Kickapoo to the SW) are the most often I have requested.
Nixa- Has been the most popular suburb for most of my career. Its about 15 minutes south of Springfield and has a smaller town feel. With its popularity it the most expensive community as far as average sales price.
Ozark- Ozark is to the SE of Springfield and sits off of Highway 65 (which is a good thing if you do a lot of interstate travel)
Republic- Is the community I ultimately chose to live in. Republic is slated for a lot of growth over the next decade which means homes here are a solid investment. Ive had children in both Price and Scholfield elementary and have always been happy with it. One thing to keep in mind out here is the rail track. There is a cargo train that runs several times a day. If you're a fan of that it's a non-issue. If it's a concern make sure where ever you purchase is far enough away that you don't have to hear it!

Brothers tacos in Springfield or El Monarcha down in Nixa. Best I've had since Taco Wagon shut down.

Not local but the thriftbooks website. I use it all the time to bet books anywhere between 20-90% off retail. Just make sure you pay attention to rated condition on whatever your order

I agree with mapping clouds. Discount daves was horrible customer service, bad sales , refused to be definitive on everything and jerked us around for a month.
We went with Mouerys

It's probably a Sherwin Williams color. You can call and ask if they gave the color on file!

I'd love to hear your experience. DM me if you prefer to keep it private. I haven't sold in anything in eagle ridge but my clients in other developments were happy with their builds.
