That's one of the great paradox of language. It is supposed to convey direct information but in many cases what we say about ourselves means the opposite. For example, to say your are a liar makes you, in a way, honest. To say you are weak demands strengh. To say you don't know shit actually means you have a strong knowledge about the vastness of, well, knowledge in general.
Language is weird af.
