Uzamaki was the one that got me hooked actually so I ended up on amazon just buying whatever they had in-stock!
So far it and No longer human are my favorites. He's just so creative.

Scope. When the story is bigger and deals with large scale events or important people.
Off the top of my head Inferno comes to mind (or the divine comedy I just like the hell section best) as you not only explore the layers of hell but the different punishments, the whys of them AND the actual people in there.

This might be considered cheating but during the black Friday sales I got a bunch of Junji Ito's works for cheap... I have now read 5 full volumes each around 500 - 700 pages long.
Manga is easier to get through but dear god did I attack those!!! Such an odd mind!

“It is a good rule in life never to apologize. The right sort of people do not want apologies, and the wrong sort take a mean advantage of them.”
I'm the type that would apologize when another person bumps into me. It's an ongoing process to break that habit and one day I randomly came across this quote... I have now read almost all pf P.G. Wodehouse's body of works AND I'M NOT SORRY IN THE LEAST! Lol!
