This sub is mostly full of pessimists (myself included).
But a lot of the problems the mass media hypes about have actual solutions. It's just that nobody wants to implement said solutions.

I think people will turn away from big, mass produced media and look to alternative, small creators.

It's not like the Average Joe is going to get any of this technology. Whereas the billionaires and politicians will get to live longer and parasitize us even longer.

I feel like we may develop laws and regulations akin to the Padishah Empire of the Dune series about limiting machine intelligence and AI.
Without mentats to replace AI of course.

I guess it depends on who manufactured the AI.
It can be used for good or bad. An authoritarian government would obviously use it for malevolent purposes.
