Would you support Richmond transferring ownership of Bryan Park to Henrico County for free? I think Henrico County's citizens would benefit by that move because of all that development towards the middle of the county (Green City, VCC). Henrico also seems more primed and motivated to throw some money at improving and building new parks (see also Taylor Farm park).
Henrico gets an additional park to add to their fleet and Richmond gets to direct some of their budget towards their other parks.

There's one like this at Sheppard & Ellwood and also the nicer one on Park Dr. which connects Dogwood Dell parking lot to the VITA trail.
They're awkward to use because of two lane traffic (Ellwood one way and Park Dr. two way). You'll get one courteous driver in lane A who looks to be gradually slowing down to yield to you and then lane B driver appears to be going full speed and may/may not slam on their brakes. What walker wants to trust that both parties will come to a complete stop. Awkward for both drivers and walkers.

You're welcome, oh and btw I too have made a ticket for that asphalt fix you're talking about. I estimate that the reason it's so slow going is because road work around active railroad crossings requires extra time & attention and therefore gets ignored until it's absolutely necessary

I've had some success resolving and expediting some tickets I create on 311 by calling some of the workers directly

OP, do you have an electronic copy of your lease agreement you could link? If not, could you scan it to PDF and link? That would help us to give you some advice on where other tenants (& their guests) are not abiding by rules (i.e. Section 2: Paragraph 4: Subsection 1)

I think they would be better served by building a metal fence around their property than their current yard nazi antics

I feel like you might be able to find a local church who might be interested in helping out. I don't have any lead to offer you, but if you have someone in your general network who is church-going, I would reach out to them.

As it is now (unless they're planning to pop up some outdoor seating in warmer months) it's 100% a to-go place. You are currently unable to sit down and eat there, well you could but you'd be sitting on the curb outside

Nice. My dream is for some of the region's rail lines to get consolidated into multi use asphalt paths. Imagine the railroad bridge next to the Powhite Parkway bridge having an asphalt path with guard rails giving dedicated trail access from Southside to Scott's Addition/Northside.

For sure, I thought that went without saying. Last time I was there the bathrooms were locked with portajohns on the outside available. (no signs of construction activity though)

Yeah that's a problem - portajohns are for concerts and construction sites

Richmond should transfer ownership of Bryan Park to Henrico to free up some money to invest in their other parks. City park bathrooms are falling into disrepair around Fountain Lake, Forest Hill park, and I don't know if Gillie Creek Park has any facilities..

po' man's pickled red onions: After finishing a jar of pickles, add your roughly chopped red onions into the jar. Add 1 part white vinegar and 1 part hot water. Seal and let sit on counter for 1 hour before putting in fridge. Let sit in fridge for 2 days before consuming.
They go great with rice and pork belly, chili, or anything needing the bite of red onion.
