ChatGPT just reached a million users
That means more money will be invested and more data use
I personally think its to best time to invest in the tech and stop worrying about what it will be used for
If spend time looking up stocks over arguing with Reddit users The only reason I’m not investing more is because I have to wait for my next pay check

I heard years ago AI could never do the things it can now
This is before huge companies put billions into the tech
We can either accept that AI will slowly take more jobs and give humans more time to work on other things or ignore it until it affects your life

Reply to Are cultural changes more important than technological ones to solve environmental and capitalism issues? by G-Funk_with_2Bass
They go hand in hand
If the government breaks up monopolies then more jobs will be available and they will offer cheaper services/products affecting how much you get offered at a job/how much you pay
Mental health and education would help solve many Social issues. Many are just ignorant or their friends are too uneducated on how to help their friends become better people
It’s all connected

Someone brought up a great point
If you lay off even 20ish percent of people La jobs quickly that will affect the entire economy
Like less condition jobs if the coders can’t fund work and there for can’t work on their house
The snowball effect is what’s really scary

I think people who think we will adapt are naive
Look at what happened during, where did all money go? Not to you

Does anyone know of veterans can get free therapy
My friend isn’t suicidal but I think some therapy would help him feel more motivated to get out more.

I’m not going to defend shitty behavior but this country had been ignoring these people for years and their are clear solutions to help them but we keep voting in assholes who only care about profiting the rich and businesses
Maybe if voters voted on people with better ideas then telling homeless people to just leave, we’d not have to be dealing with this situation
JerrodDRagon t1_j4jvo9j wrote
Imagine just blaming people for being homeless instead of volunteering or giving money to local shelters
As someone very close to being homeless or sucks. I lucky have friends helping me but been looking for a job for 9 months after my profit record breaking company decided to fire me a top performer because I voiced I didn’t want to come back to work in the office
I can’t sure because they were layoffs but you don’t fire someone doing 120% on average The only time I dipped under 100 percent production was when we didn’t have enough work

The Office The final season has big ups and downs but the film episode is really great
It’s full of all the feels, creed gets to sing, and Dwight fires Jim, to help them more money as Jim and Pam leave the company.
And of course the famous line from Andy “I wish there was a way to know you're in the good old days before you've actually left them.”

Justice League the show was very popular and liked of not loved by most DC fans that are now adults
Give the people what they want

Two questions
I swore I was seeing head lines that after your third booster they were not as affective
how much does eating healthily/exercising help you from dying or getting extremely sick from covid?
