The flower show was on a downward slide before Covid. My wife was a very loyal attendee but we stopped going after a while. More and more of the show was taken up by vendors than exhibits over the years. And not even plant vendors.

If you haven’t seen the show other than the outdoor thing, might as well give it a go and judge for yourself. But I’ll pass.

They are lazy and cheap. They could easily park in the garage for a few bucks get their party and get out.

Just another of of those things Philadelphians say we would like to change but we really don’t. Start ticketing people on the ramps and you’ll start getting the litany of complaints from overentitled jerkoffs about how police should focus on actual crime.

The residents of South Philly long ago made it a zone where rules don’t apply. Politicians have been afraid to take it on because they’ve needed the votes and the ward captains.

The new residents are part of the Free Parking is a Human Right movement, so little will ever change.

Chicago style or just thick crust? There’s a Santuccis up that way. Hook and Master is Chicago style but down in Kensington, so probably not far enough out.

Unfortunately getting something like a Lou Malnati‘s out this way is tough.
