Your town hall should have a list of officials and they can meet you at town hall to sign the papers. Mine only asked for a donation to an art center of any $ amount.

Start with learning to read sheet music. Label your keys with the correct notes until you are familiar enough with them. Invest in some cheap beginning piano books and take it slow. MCC used to have a beginning piano course but I'm not sure if it's offered still.

My father lived on the east side of the park and I have many good memories hanging out there. Close to the mall and shopping areas. Alvarium brewery is good and the surrounding area has some good restaurants and coffee shops. Stanley quarter park has one of the best fireworks in the state on the fourth and I always go back for them. I think south and east of the park can have it's fair share of car break ins etc but I've never felt unsafe walking those areas.

There is a small cave at Bolton Notch and there is a old tale of a Dutchman that was killed inside. Apparently accused of chopping wood on the Sabbath and ran off with his wife to hide in the cave. It's just a small cave/den and unfortunately has seen its share of vandalism. But it's a cool spot and nice hiking area.

Club life has been dead in New Haven for over 10 years ever since the big crackdown. Take a train to NYC there's tons of events going on.

There are many spots free parking weekends after 6pm. Usually I throw in a cheap parking garage in my gps and when I get within a few minutes I start looking for open spots on the street. It's about a 50/50 shot but it doesn't hurt to do some research for garages ahead of time.
