Krauzers in East Hartford, although the price has gone from 5.99 to 9.99 and I swear they got smaller. The chicken steak is still amazing though.

I just came back from Korea and was shocked that kids were taking the bus alone and walking around the city. Every kid has their own cell phone to reach parents and yet somehow are all very well behaved.

Your town hall should have a list of officials and they can meet you at town hall to sign the papers. Mine only asked for a donation to an art center of any $ amount.

My friend tried and got stuck 1/4 of the way out. He tried swimming back but was just stuck against the current. Eventually he made it back and we quickly decided to never try that again.

Second this with only adding maybe Black eyed Sallys for dinner and then a quick trip upstairs to Pigs Eye is always a good night.

Reply to Can someone give me piano lessons? by topsheetisamust
Start with learning to read sheet music. Label your keys with the correct notes until you are familiar enough with them. Invest in some cheap beginning piano books and take it slow. MCC used to have a beginning piano course but I'm not sure if it's offered still.

My father lived on the east side of the park and I have many good memories hanging out there. Close to the mall and shopping areas. Alvarium brewery is good and the surrounding area has some good restaurants and coffee shops. Stanley quarter park has one of the best fireworks in the state on the fourth and I always go back for them. I think south and east of the park can have it's fair share of car break ins etc but I've never felt unsafe walking those areas.

Reply to Forgotten Cave by Joggingmusic
There is a small cave at Bolton Notch and there is a old tale of a Dutchman that was killed inside. Apparently accused of chopping wood on the Sabbath and ran off with his wife to hide in the cave. It's just a small cave/den and unfortunately has seen its share of vandalism. But it's a cool spot and nice hiking area.

There is and I was able to visit on a school trip, they even took us into the woods to excavate. I'm not sure if it's open to the public though.

They can be found in New York City too. The story is a shipment of them broke loose at JFK in the 60's and some made their way to CT, not sure if it's true or not.

Drove through Virginia to Tennessee and the mountain views near the blue mountains made the drive much more enjoyable. I wish I had more time to drive the parkway, it is definitely on my list for the future.

There are many spots free parking weekends after 6pm. Usually I throw in a cheap parking garage in my gps and when I get within a few minutes I start looking for open spots on the street. It's about a 50/50 shot but it doesn't hurt to do some research for garages ahead of time.
