It has nothing to do with efficiency (mpg), it's only to do with emissions.
A 5L Supercharged Range Rover is very poor efficency, around 15mpg. Yet its Euro 6. Despite being the the worst tax bracket (based on co2) there is.

Well Euro 4 petrol came out in 2005. So any petrol after that is exempt. Would be my guess at the comment.
It's badly implemented though. It's only on Euro rating, not actual emissions.
IE a 2000 Honda Insight. 1L 3Cyl Hybrid, is euro 3, as euro 4 didn't exist. Has to pay. A 2005 Civic Type R, is exempt because its euro 4. Yet puts out 3 x the co2, more nox,and more pm.
That Insight is cleaner than a euro 6 diesel! Yet its written off as a more polluting vehicle! There will be plenty more examples, that's just once I've come across.

I've seen it done with celotex type stuff. You can get special toggle things to hold it in place, or trays etc.
Also seen a more DIY approach of mesh netting stapled under joists, and rock wool type roll placed on the netting between joists.

Of course, but this will probably be down to where we live....
In UK, tumble driers aren't anywhere near as common as US for example. And weather isn't warm (dry) enough to reliably dry everyday.
Trying to dry a super king bed set in doors.... Sucks!

You don't have the multi season duvet set either? Comes as 2, 1 thin, 1 med, use together to make thick.
So I use thin in summer, med in autumn, both in winter.

What, are there really people out there that just have 1 set?!
And have to wash and dry it in 1day?!

Why is the gap so big? Poor tiling?
I guess it's always been big, or has there been movement in the tray?
How big is the gap?

I only play 1440, will only use RT on single player games.
Tbh, I'm just impulsive and like buying things 😂

The 3080 was £800 for me at launch.
Not sure what the 4080 will be, more I'm sure.

Well I was interested.... Not a sure thing.
Who doesn't love a new gpu? 😉

I was pretty excited a while back, hearing the 4080 was going to be faster than 3090Ti etc....
Then more details dropped about the 4080 not using the 4090 chip etc.
Then EVGA pulling out....
Sticking with my 3080 FTW Ultra this time round.

Reply to Finishing butcher block counter with hardwax oil... what grit to pre sand with? by DisscoStu
All finish products need some kind of roughness to adhere to / into.
If its too smooth, the pores (think that's the right word) are closed. Same for if you don't wipe it down after sanding, they can clog with dust.
Follow the guidelines, or don't be surprised if you get results different than expected.
