What do you mean by "They're still printing money just slower"? I don't think you know what that means. They've been rolling off the balance sheet since early 2022, so they are certainly not printing money.

So Putin will convince them to join the war, a large chunk of their male population will be killed, and then there will be no one to start a resistance when Russia takes Belarus.

Every time we've had inflation, it was vastly underestimated and it stuck around much longer than expected. I think we'll see the same thing, and it will culminate with a Paul Volker style Fed-induced recession once they decide to quit fucking around (which is exactly what they're doing now).
