The lack of casus belli is not the thing that is holding NATO back. We have just as much reason to attack now as if russia started attacking NATO. The point is that NATO is simply afraid of nukes. Which is understandable but also its understandable that russia is equally afraid. Which somehow gets removed from the calculations.

Some dude from a less developed region might see the tools other construction workers use and think. Gee my job is over. This is just another tool. There will still be jobs. Just like we survived nearly everyone being a farmer just a while back to only a small percentage working in that field. Pun intended.

If it walks like a duck and all that. Saying you are not a prepper doesn't change the fact that you are worrying about something that is very unlikely and doing things that are detrimental to your current situation.

Prepping isn't a bad thing if its your hobby. Its a fine lifestyle if it actually brings you contentment. If its something you do out of fear and anxiety then better to work on those emotions instead.

I think ray tracing is fantastic but I also think that realistic doesnt always mean better in this context. Like if I was trying to sell my home and took pictures for the ad with a really good camera the pictures would be very realistic but someone could make my home look much better in photoshop by tweaking the colors and contrast. One is realistic, one is what people like.

The main function of crypto has always been to make real money and to a lesser degree avoid law enforcement. Both of those things have a target audience so crypto or something similar will continue to exist for a long time. Why some people who are not directly profiting from crypto still desperately seek a use for it is a mystery.
