I just watched Eyes Wide Shut for the first time last night and finally saw Alan Cumming give the most incredible one-scene performance ever committed to film.
Josie and the Pussycats is also unfairly overlooked imo and worth a revisit if you're a fan of his.

I suppose my only counterargument is that our ancestors didn't have to drop such massive coin to get lasting denim! :,( If these were $4 like Levi's in 1950 ($58 today) I wouldn't be saying shit, I swear.

I'm sorry this upset you. This is kind of a mean comment to someone you don't know, but I hope it made you feel better to express it. If we met on the street, maybe you'd be surprised to find out that we might get along and could even be friends.

You've impeccably typed out my thoughts, and my same body type actually. You're talking some sense into me. These jeans do fuckin rule. The discolored tag got my panties in a bunch. They're still a bit twisted up, but not as much. :)
If this post didn't dissuade you, give the Breezy Britt a try. They're a curvy fit without being *called* a curvy fit. No back waist gap at all!! Only downside is that return shipping is $20. I got lucky and managed to try them when I was in NYC last week. They didn't have my hem length, so I ordered online when I got home. They're on sale for $140 right now!

Yes definitely, and I'm sure this is bleed from other jeans they were stacked with. These just arrived today and are unworn. My question is sincere curiosity about whether it's picky to want these to be in more pristine condition upon arrival?

Ah, I'm sure you're right. I do almost exclusively tuck my shirts into my pants, so the tag is always showcased and feels like more of a bummer than I'd usually be fussy about. The sale price is absolutely what's making me feel like an a-hole about complaining. I appreciate the advice. I think I'll shoot em an email, but let it go if they can't help.

Good question! I don't think it's dirt, but it's discolored. I'm positive that it's not intentionally manufactured this way, and it doesn't come off when wiped.

Reply to comment by Decabet in TIL the phrase “you can’t handle the truth” was created/ improvised by Jack Nicholson. The movie's original screenplay boasted the line "You already have the truth," which Nicholson trimmed to "You can't handle the truth." by SixedSigma
>endlessly repeated cheap punchline
The only iteration of it that doesn't drive me crazy is in Rugrats in Paris, I think of this more often than the original.
