Get some wood and just make a box, (bottom, sides maybe a top), then finish it (paint, stain or Polly). Paint the bathroom (it’s probably the smallest room in the house). Get a piece of drywall, punch a hole in it, then patch it. You can do it, don’t be afraid to start.
