I'll watch the Rick show. I haven't watched TWD in years. I never got into the spinoffs. I'm not interested in the other spinoffs, even though Maggie & Negan (Dead Island or whatever) filmed by me so I might watch.
But I'm really interested to see Andrew Lincoln back. I wanted to see the four Rick movies when they were announced and I'm bummed it's a whole new series (since they'll probably get stuck again) but I'll watch because it's Rick. I assume they're hoping a lot of other lapsed fans are doing what I'm doing and coming back for him.

Yeah I have a feeling they're going to see how season one does and if it does well Niles will show up in whatever new city Fraiser is in.

Peacock has always had issues with live streaming sports, so this doesn't surprise me. I know soccer had similar issues. For the longest time WWE PLEs were like how you described.
If you missed out on the start you couldn't start from the beginning. You had to join live and wait for the event to finish to catch up on what you missed. They eventually fixed it.
So I don't think it was licensing issues. Peacock just sucks when it comes to live event playback.

Well what premiered in the past six months that may have needed some hype?
GRRM was also optimistic when GOT was airing. He wants fans to be hyped about the universe. He wants them to think a conclusion is coming soon. But really he is just marketing the show, which is smart. That's why he was suddenly optimistic around HOTD premiering.

He will 100% show up if the show plays out whatever story they're trying to tell.
He was either being coy to hide a reveal or he didn't want to commit until seeing if the show was good. Maybe he didn't want to overshadow the first season if fans knew he was coming back.

That was Tyson being Tyson. It's his whole shtick, being a pissy contrarian.
Bananas, Wes, Long and other Challenge vets all defended BM. They said they have their issues with rules but guys like Tyson and Leo expected something different and that's on them. Leo is a conspiracy theorist who thought production was out to get him.
I've been watching for 20+ years and I've never seen people complain like Tyson and Leo did. Leo even got special treatment with his video chats but still bitched.
