Yes. A few years ago when my son was two days away from taking his driver's license test, I was informed that he would not be able to take the test with my car if I didn't have a front plate. I hadn't had one in over 10 years, had no idea where it was, and couldn't claim it was lost or damaged to get a replacement. I had to re-register my car and got 2 new plates.

Looks like a Mondrian but it could just be a similar style, like the Partridge Family bus. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Piet_Mondrian

Reply to Author reminds Americans that Samuel Adams was a revolutionary before he was a beer by DaveOJ12
Years ago I did a Duck Tour in Boston and our guide was hilarious. When we approached Granary Burying Ground, where Samuel Adams is buried, the guide pointed to the pub across the street and said this was the only place in Boston where you could order a cold Sam Adams while you look at a cold Sam Adams.

Reply to Anyone ever get pulled over for not having a front plate on their vehicle? by MrBleah
I didn't have a front plate for 12 years and never had an issue. The day before my son was going to take his driver's license test with my car, I found out there can be no missing plates (among other things) or that car could not be used in the test. I had to rush to the DMV to re-register my car and they gave me two new plates. I miss my old one.
