I used to love them! They stopped servicing my brand of car though.

I think in some cases they don’t have the recommended oil, or perhaps they are a PITA to work on.

I wouldn't go on one in the winter, but I get cold quickly. You are out in the spray; you get soaked. Make sure there is a heated bar where you can relax while mom and dad freeze :)

I go to Jiffy Lube on route 22 in Bridgewater. Not all the places local to me will change the oil on my car (a mini). They are swift and professional.

Reply to Turnpike toll violation question by The_Gray_Mouser
We had to replace our transponder recently, so look into that.
Is your license plate registered to your account? If it isn't when you call, have them add it. You can't add it if you have a violation. When you call, be prepared to hold for a while, but it is 1000% better than it used to be. I found the people very nice, once you get to them

I’m a patient there as well. Same thing, I’m asked which lab I use. Actually I like being a patient there. the ease that doctors can share data etc

Morristown is more lively than Somerville. The train line to NYC is a bit better than the Raritan Valley line. New Brunswick is pretty lively as well.

Where I live Colallio owns the least expensive one, I don’t know the name of the other. If I drive 20 minutes there is another family. Yes they can own multiple stores

Each shoprite is individually owned, so maybe complain to the store in question. The only time I've seen 70% was on Sushi. We are halfway between two different stores with different owners. We discovered the shop-at-home cart price was consistently 5-10 cheaper at one store, so we go there whenever we can. Do you have other options you could try?

I've lived in Hunterdon for 29 years and raised two kids here. My kids went to Clinton Town School (Small K-8), a quaint town with a real main street. They go to the North-Hunterdon Voorhees high school district. Clinton Township has a larger area, more students, and several schools but is also N Hunterdon/Voorhees.
The Flemington area might be an easier commute for your Husband. The kids go to Hunterdon Central, a much larger high school. Flemington town is small but surrounded by a much larger Raritan Township. A bit busier than the Clinton Area. There are other towns in-between as well. The traffic between Clinton and Flemington can take up to 25 mins, which might be part of your husband's commute.
Great place to live, we love it.

Yeah our town in Hunterdon power was out for 2 weeks. Difficult to find gas to run the generator. Out in the sticks we have well pumps, and septic pumps. So no water or flushes without some power source.
My in-laws house at the shore has hit with 6 feet of water, what a mess.
