It sucks but if the doctor woke up with COVID or the flu or needing a root canal, it didn’t matter how far in advance you scheduled your appointment.

Your choices are move to a different doctor, move to a different practice or ask to see someone else sooner.

So who gets their appointments canceled to have yours sooner?

Having worked on the other side of the scheduling desk it’s frustrating to tell patients that they have to go a ways out but doctors schedules are tightly packed.

My advice for anyone driving pleasant st coming in from 295:

-stay in the right lane coming off of 295 unless you have to go to one of the businesses on the left hand side of Pleasant street when you get off the interstate. If you have to go to one of those businesses (before the river road intersection) then you should start in the left lane.

-after river road, get into the left lane if you are going route 1 or stay in the right lane if you are gonna go to Maine street.

If you stay in the left hand lane from start to finish it will take you forever with people turning left all the time.

Its a major through point. Lots of states have higher tolls at point of entry.

You can take roads other than the turnpike to get into New Hampshire as well.

Mills can win if Democrats/the left do the following: vote.

If Mills isn’t your cup of tea or doesn’t fit your idea of a unicorn candidate, she is leaps and bounds better than Lepage.

Don’t expect anyone to do your voting for you: you have to get out a vote. Shaming people into voting your way won’t get Mills elected nor will sitting out an election to prove a point do anything except tilt the ratio towards Lepage.

To my fellow moderates/centrists leaning toward Mills: you have to vote. Don’t let complacency or the comfort of your echo chamber convince you that Mills has this tied up. You have vote!

Maine is by and dad one of the easier states to vote. There is no excuse for not voting.
