I think “leagues better” is overselling it, but it is better so far. It’s hard to put my finger on what exactly is better, but it feels better

I had that issue with That 90s Show. In the season 1 finale one of the characters goes “wow, you’ve grown so much this summer!” and it’s like… we just started though. How’s it the end of the summer already?!

I liked Veep a lot, but like OP I could only watch one or two episodes at a time. It was so stressful to watch

It’s certainly debatable, but I’d rather not have Hyde at all than have him recast. Danny Masterson is a garbage-level human being that doesn’t deserve to come back, but he killed it in the original show. If you did bring him back, everyone would hyper-focus on whoever the new actor was and how it just “wasn’t Hyde”. Add to that the fact that Hyde as a character easily just fits into a throwaway “oh yeah he’s in jail”, so to me that’s definitely the best path

Yeah season 7 is still decent for the most part. But I always skip season 8. It’s awful

Yeah I have no idea if it’s considered “good” television or not, but god damn is it addicting as hell. I can’t get enough of it every season

I’ve never seen Mentalist so I can’t comment on it, but I have to agree about Miller as Sherlock. He’s just so fucking good in the series

I haven’t watched it so I’m just completely guessing here - and it’s entirely possible that I misremembered or misheard! That’s just what I thought I remembered hearing

I could have sworn that they said season 6 was the last one, but I don’t remember for sure

Yep that’s 100% my reason. And the funny thing? Overall my commute wouldn’t even be that bad, at my last job is was 20-30 minutes each way. But it’s just such a pain in the ass to have to deal with, especially with random traffic spikes. But at home? I can roll out of bed and start work, and then exercise/shower on my own time throughout the day. It’s fantastic

Amy changes pretty drastically as the show goes on, so I’d say no. At the very beginning she’s essentially a woman version of Sheldon, but I’d say that by season 5 she’s just very socially awkward and weird

My vote has to go for the Dresden Files. They’re such fun books, but due to being about magic and fantasy it’s inherently a budget-heavy thing to adapt. I’d love to see it done properly though

It’s kind of sad how many people still think that company loyalty means something. I’m loyal to people at my company, but my company as an entity can just fuck right off.
