Yeah!! I love their cover of Dancing on My Own better than most of their orginals, actually, lol

Closer!!
I was a massive KOL fan back in the day and 15 years later it's still the song that gets me every time!

Wow I think you hold the world's record for most favorite genres, lol Music is also my #1 thing in life but I only like rock, some pop, some bluegrass, some new age, some reggae, and some EDM. My favorite bands are Queen, Muse, Pink Floyd, Lana Del Rey, and Silverchair.

My answer to this for most of my life has been Comfortably Numb by Pink Floyd but now I think it might be Hysteria by Muse.

Most of Storm Thorgerson's artwork, used by many bands such as Pink Floyd, Muse, etc. My favorite is Muse'sBlack Holes & Revelations.

I said this one, too! I'm happy to see another Silverchair fan on here, they're hard to find unless you're in the Silverchair subreddit! 😁

First of all, I'm so glad people are responding to this because I posted asking the same thing and didn't get any replies. Can't wait to listen to all of these suggestions!
I'll add:
"Sometime After Midnight" by Airborne Toxic Event
"Take a Bow" by Muse (hell, most Muse songs seem to build to a powerful climax)
"Tuna In the Brine" by Silverchair

That album is like fight club, we don't talk about it LOL Not worth the breath. This is the reason I haven't been excited to listen to her latest one. I can't imagine it going back to the old sound again. I could be wrong though. I'll have to listen to it eventually, i can't not, lol

She is my favorite female artist of all time! Not for vocal quality, but for the music as a whole. I saw her live once. Her first 5 albums were absolutely amazing (6 if you count her debut which didn't have any singles and didn't even chart).
What gets me is the melodies and how beautiful the music sounds with her voice. Whoever she has as musicians are so good. Some of her songs I even listen to the instrumental versions because you can better hear some of the subtle instrumentation.
She will always be in my top 5 favorite musical acts of all time!

I could listen to "Nobody's Fool" all damn day. I grew up in the 80's so I liked 99% of the hair bands but they weren't near the top of my list. I much prefered Tom Kiefer's voice low and "quiet' rather than screaming and high pitched. Or at least balanced more.

Reply to Does the hair length of a rock/metal musician still matter? by RockGiantFromMars
I grew up with 80s hair bands as the soundtrack to my life, so I'm biased here- but my love for men with long hair has never faded away, in fact even at age 50 I still prefer it, and think any man (musician or not) looks 10 times better with long hair. As for musicians, they look silly headbanging with short hair, lol
