I've posted and am waiting to hear back from someone who was on the mountain yesterday. I'll keep you posted.
Edit: it wasn't the guy people thought it might be. I'll let you know if I hear anything else.

I hope they did get better. My grandfather drank himself to death because of PTSD and the VA had no interest in hearing what I had to say. He had a check up where he was given the all clear and he died of a heart attack a week later. He was drunk in the office and told the doctor he barely ever drinks but like.... Seriously, he was slurring, smelled like beer and I had to push him in in a wheelchair because the walk would be too much for his heart. He popped nitro like candy. That was 2005. I was a teenager so I didn't realize he needed an ER and a LOT more than the VA could give so I asked for another appointment with a different doctor but he got belligerent so I left. I had my aunt follow up with them but I wish they had intervened somehow. I don't blame them for his death whatsoever, I was just very upset I left under the impression he was doing okay as far as they were concerned. Maybe they saw him as a lost cause but he was the only adult in my life that was supportive and caring and I was not ready to give up on him. Anyway, you don't need my life story, I'm just hoping they're better than that now.

I had a friend whose fiance suffered severe PTSD from Afghanistan, he would wake up in the middle of the night, grab his gun and run outside and down the road with his gun drawn. He was pretty jacked and our small town cops didn't really know what to do. They started patrolling that street at night more, sometimes parking at the end of the road out of sight because they knew it infuriated him for them to be watching. He did some peer support stuff but it didn't help much. He started collecting semi-automatic rifles and my friend thought I was being a bitch by bringing up any concerns and we stopped talking. I really hope he got help eventually as he was a nice guy at his core. But man his head was warped from being over there. He needed way more than peer support.

My boyfriend's car got hit in 2020 while it was parked in our lot. Nobody ever owned up to it and he still complains about it and that's the only reason I know it snowed October 30th 2020. His mother mentioned how warm it was in November 2020. She remembers everything... So I believe both are correct.

When I went to enroll in an early childhood education program at a community college in the state, the advisor straight up told me I was going to be paid poorly and asked me a few times if I was sure. She pushed me to really consider getting to the level where I could be a lead teacher going into any job. At the time she told me to expect about $10/hr starting out. So I would have student loans to be paid back and only be making $10/hr. Things got all screwed up with the classes so I dropped them and was supposed to start the correct classes the next semester but I got a job at a produce market for $9.75/hr which pretty quickly was raised to $14/hr. Then I got into data entry and made $18/hr with incredible insurance and never looked back. I miss working with children but I don't regret turning away from that path.

The town clerk told me they were behind and it could be up to 3 months. I think it took about a month though.

During the Bruins games they've been playing political ads from NH, MA and ME. If I forget to mute the TV or misplace the remote it's exhausting. I only watch WMUR clips on haystack and I never watch the ads so I'm safe from that shit show.

My mom gave me her "usual" nighttime dose one time because I was in pain and couldn't sleep. I was on another planet for a few hours and it was scary. I generally do a tincture and measure it in drops. It was also Maine stuff and not the crap you get in NH.
For me I do get the racing heart even with lower amounts and I get a bit dizzy but I know that's when I need to put my head down and sleep. I can imagine it could be, at the very least, uncomfortable if you aren't aware you have taken anything.
