Pretty sure Phil has a success rate of 39% or something like that, they should just switch what the shadow/non shadow represents and boom he will have a 61% success rate.

And the last part of that road that’s in NY actually is officially I-99 already, but when you cross the PA state line it’s just just US-15. It’s been that way for years, hopefully they get it all connected at some point.

There are plenty of trumpers (confederate flags too) up where OP was as well, they probably just saw fewer trump flags than around Buffalo since the overall population is way lower.

Reply to comment by IamSauerKraut in Where can I find a snowy cabin for a winter getaway? by ideclareBANKRUPTCY_
I’ll add that there are no guarantees up there either as it’s possible there could be a warm spell, but you will most likely be seeing snow.
In PA it’s more likely that there would be no snow than the winter wonderland you’re envisioning. So yeah, go north. Northern Vermont generally gets the most snow.

Reply to Fetterman predicts early Republican lead in vote counting due to changes by GOP lawmakers | The Hill by oldschoolskater
So the exact same “red mirage” that happened in the 2020 election (though probably not quite to the same degree as there was more mail in voting happening then).
There will no doubt be several people who don’t understand this declaring a republican victory before the mail in votes are counted, just like there were then.
I remember the odds on betting sites actually swung in favor of trump when the initial votes were being counted on election night because people failed to grasp this and thought trump was winning.

It’s not a hub airport so unfortunately the long distance/international access isn’t going to be great, I don’t think the airports in similarly sized cities (besides hubs like Denver, Salt Lake, or Charlotte) are going to be any better in that department.

Reply to comment by zorionek0 in Three Pennsylvania amusement parks named among best in the U.S. (Kennywood, Knoebels, and Hersheypark) by zorionek0
Knoebels is significantly cheaper for a day, with free parking and reasonable ride ticket pricing. But they don’t offer a season pass, so if you’re visiting more than a few times over the season then Hershey is actually cheaper.
Hershey has one of the best coaster lineups in the country but it’s a typical corporate amusement park.
Knoebels is a more unique experience, it’s family owned with a lot of charm and they take really good care of their wooden coasters.
So it really comes down to what kind of experience you prefer.
