Outdoor Gear Exchange, I think? Loved it and plan to go back this summer.

Too heavy for my taste, but thought that was just me.

Places I saw today didn’t freeze smoothly, either. We didn’t get cold enough temps for long enough, but I also wouldn’t skate on such bumpy/wavy ice, unfortunately.

Yes, I love it there! I get a few filled croissants, a bunch of little tarts and things, and usually a piece of cake or something.

I totally thought it was just me!!! I did not enjoy SS at all because of this. Butterbang is amazing.

They do. They were over baked whenever I tried them, but it could have been a fluke. People seem to like them.

I’m a fiend. Butterbang is among the very best (pop-up). Madrid is very good as well. Sift (Mystic or Watch Hill in summer) is excellent. Another worthy trip is to Flourhouse near Boston. I haven’t been to Middletown yet, but I’m going. All of these have various filled croissants - some seasonal ones, like pecan pie occasionally, but my favorite regular flavor is usually chocolate almond.

And almond. And I believe plain. They are not bad! All frozen, and you proof yourself, although they might have room temperature versions, too.

Love this idea! There are little free pantries elsewhere, including at the old fire station on mineral spring avenue in NP.

Actually, maybe they don’t, I just assume breakfast is morning. Basil and Bunny tends to call theirs brunch.

Basil & Bunny is super, but last I checked, the brunch isn’t until midday or so.

I didn’t, I just hoped I remembered right after like a decade, ha! It was a lot of fun - I know they had a lot of paddle and climbing gear for me to check out back then.
