I don't listen to a ton of new music, but I'm surprised at how few of the non-headliners I recognize. I also feel like there's a lack of indie/indie rock, but that might be included in the artists I don't recognize.

Cats are essentially an invasive species, and kill billions of birds each year. I'm not suggesting we go out and kill cats, but we also should absolutely be trying to reduce the number of outdoor cats (both feral and domesticated).

Within the city the color variation mostly seems to fall along income lines. Higher income areas are more yellow/orange, lower income areas are more green. Not 1:1, necessarily, but a trend.

I think that's because income has a pretty large impact on how the climate impact was calculated. You have to be wealthier to live in the suburbs than to live in rural areas, which means you likely buy more stuff, travel more, etc.

I went to the Red Hook IKEA for the first time this weekend and was shocked at how big the cafeteria was and how busy it was. Definitely seems like part of the draw.

A lot of the sites can be visited whenever. Here's some that seem interesting (to me) and harder to get access to normally:
- BlueBlocks floating gardens (Red Hook)
- Brooklyn Army Terminal (Sunset Park) - this one has ticketed tours and general open access during the weekend
- Living Breakwaters Coastal Resilience boat tour
- Delta Terminal C at LGA
- Roosevelt Island Vacuum Trash System
- Grolier Club (UES)
- One Wall Street: The Red Room
- The Belnord (UWS) - historic apartment building featured in Only Murders in the Building
