He certainly writes books that I can’t put down. From the opening sequence in Slow Horses, I was completely hooked. I like that he doesn’t shy away from killing characters you have come to care about. No one seems safe, except for Jackson Lamb, and that is as it should be.

I had no trouble at all, but my hearing a fairly shot, so maybe that filtered out some of the tones.

Love Severance, but only managed a couple of episodes of Servant. Just couldn’t get into it for some reason.

It depends on who you are watching. Most of the pundits on my favourite news channel have books related to their area of study, sometimes with a few non-work related novels thrown in (which is always illuminating).
