Regardless of the rights and wrongs of the situation he has the city by the balls. They'll settle rather than have to deal with this minefield in court.

Why the 6 hour gap between the incident and reporting it?

Was there any contact or indirect communication between the police and Degise prior to her making the report?

Was Amy driving on a suspended license as indicated by her ticket history?

Was her car actually impounded in Hoboken or did John Allen pull strings for her?

I believe plaintiff is claiming that the owners misrepresented their intentions with the space to both the seller and the mortgage company. I don't believe they are solely relying on Fulop's text to prove this.
I'm not too concerned about that aspect so I'm not going to argue it's merit except to point out that you're wrong. It just seems a little reachy after calling it fake.

I think this whole business stinks and they were foolish to push ahead with it.

There's nobody really. We might have a chance with Solomon but we have to wait for Fulop to either run for governor or retire to Rhode Island and i don't have too may summers left.
I understand people's anger with the BOE, but I don't see the other side as a viable alternative so we're fucked either way,
I think the letter with the 4th quarter bill quite insane, but I feel Fulop forced his own hand, he must not have known this was coming to have sent the letter with the 3rd quarter. The council also claim ignorance, you have to wonder how that happens. Solomon did mention $36m surprise cash deficit, so likely it's true there were unknowns, but that 36m can't also be the BOE/covid funds in the letter. All very fishy.
Anyway, I'd already decided to look for greener pastures. Good luck everyone.
