That is amazing. I'm still unclear as to how this entanglement is created, and how long it persists. Could we potentially use it to communicate with distant space craft, like with a Mars rover type vehicle?

Go to youtube music and type in the lumineers. Then play "Radio". Or go to Bandlab and look there. Also, look up royalty free music on Google.

Reply to eli5 why do you puke when sick by shaela-a-pinetree
Once your body recognizes that it has ingested a virus, toxin or poison it will expel it by inducing vomiting. Unfortunately, it takes a while for it to tell, so it keeps vomiting even when the stomach is empty (the toxin is in the blood by then). Alcohol is a great example of a toxin that is absorbed in great quantities before inducing vomiting. But you can short cut this by "thinking" something might contain toxins by thinking its really gross and throwing it up sooner, before a lot is absorbed.

Reply to ELI5: Why is stress from exercising good for our body/heart but stress from anxiety isn't? by ecanem63
Both are stresses. That is the bottom line. You are right. If you have a heart condition, you'd be in danger from any stress, including exercise, while you're doing it. In that way, they are indeed similar.

Reply to comment by readitreaddit in ELI5: How does buffalos get so big while being herbivores? by Kay1636
Well they have enzymes, and special bacteria ... as well as multiple stomachs and have to rechew their food over and over after its been in this stomachs. AND if we had that ability, we'd have no fiber in our diets, which would lead to high cholesterol and high rates of colon cancer.
Besides, do you want to be chewing 13 hours a day?

They eat a lot of calories. Herbivores have enzymes that let them digest "insoluble fiber" aka cellulose, aka plant fiber. They get a lot more nutrition from plants than humans. These enzymes break open the plant cells, giving them access to proteins and fats not available to us. Plus they never stop eating.

Reply to ELI5: What’s car alignment? I read that cars should have it done regularly as part of their service. by LittleLostSadDeer
Imagine you have a bike, but it's handle bar is kinda turned to the left. Not too bad, but annoying. That's one part. Now imagine your bike has two front tires. If one of them is pointed a little to the left but the other is straight, you can see the problem.
