COVID helped me on this one. I have a little hand sanitizer in my glove compartment now and since it's mostly alcohol it does the trick ni still need to give it a good few rounds of rubbing though.

If you're into morning runs/workouts check out November Project. A subset of us run up Prospect Hill in Somerville every Friday at 6:30 AM. Some of us are faster than others. All abilities welcome. Bonus is we meet for post run donuts at Union Square Donuts.

Rain or shine, that's kind of a November Project's thing. We exercise outside no matter the temperature or weather. I typically go to the official Wednesday workout at Harvard stadium. The official Friday workouts are in Brookline on Summit Ave. That's a bit too far for me, so a smaller group of us meet every Friday at Prospect Hill in Somerville, run up and down the hill for about 45 minutes then go down to Union Square Donuts for coffee and sweets. There were probably around 10 of us today and with the warm weather it was actually quite pleasant. Again, it's a super friendly group, new faces are always welcome.

If you are into fitness and can tolerate exercise at 6:30 AM, the November Project is probably the most welcoming community I've been a part of. It's a 2 for 1 of fitness and community, can't beat that...unless you prefer being in bed in the morning.

Me too, absolutely, I think they're $30 for a cut (plus $5 for tip). It might be possible to find a straight up barber for cheaper to do his military cut.

They're not cheap like you'd hope for, but they finish with a straight razor and do not disappoint.

We like going there a lot. We've been buying the 10 passes there and occasionally hitting up the yoga when we go. Great suggestion

Thanks! She's tried Down Under a few times. I think if it was closer to where we live, it could fill her need.
She's been eying Fitlab, do you have any gift or starter packages?

It looks like a solid sport and a great location for us. Do you have any specific class time or teachers you recommend?

Not really. I am a firm believer in doing your best, but caring for yourself.

And some of those who become champs become crippled from the toll it takes.
