Reply to Brazil's outgoing President Jair Bolsonaro, who has not acknowledged his electoral defeat, bid followers a tearful farewell Friday without stating whether he would attend Sunday's inauguration of victor Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva by DoremusJessup
And don’t forget his supporters have been standing in front of military buildings literally begging them to take over and start a dictatorship. They literally camped there. Abandoned their jobs and families, to just beg every day for soldiers to take control.
They stayed there even during rain and storms. In one place they got hit by a fucking thunderbolt. And what’s the result of their sacrifice? Nothing. Bolsonaro just took a plane and went away without saying a word. The supporters are already doing the wildest mental gymnastics to try to justify what is he doing, using their usual excuse “It’s all part of the plan, he’s an expert military strategist! It’s 4D chess!” when in reality the whiney baby is just running away.

If there is a cycle to climate we are clearly altering it. What would usually take thousands of years to change is changing in a matter of decades. This is too fast for life to adapt. Every time there’s a mass extinction , such as super volcanoes, meteors, climate changes drastically and quickly.
We are on our way to the 6th mass extinction.

Climate change isn’t that simple. It’s not “just the seasons” , it’s not just a “natural cycle which mankind has no power over”
