Wouldn't any home lived in be technically NOT a homeless shelter since the people aren't homeless?

There should be a separate sub for just I don't want to say stupid thought cause I don't want to be mean but a sub for less than intelligent shower thoughts. Just cause you have it in a shower doesn't mean it makes sense.

I went through a phase where I wanted to read all the old "Horror" classics. There were a bunch of older novels set together at my then local library. Don't really think Dorian Gray should be classified as a horror novel but I enjoyed it. The Dorian Charecter is regularly added to novels and stories however it seems they slowly turned it into a caricature of the original version.

My wife is not a person who reads books. She reads magazines and things online and a lot for her job. She loved Dark Vanessa though and since she read it she has been looking for more books like it but nothing I've given her or suggested seems to have hit that spot for her.

His movies are either great or just a bit away from being good to me. The charecters do make weird decisions, there's always some deus ex machina moment that isn't necessary, and I'm generally left thinking what was the point of any of this? At least I'm thinking about it when it's over though. So many movies end and your just like " well that was fun but it's over and gone now."

Renting Megaman 2 from blockbuster on Friday then waking up saturday and sitting crosslegged in front of the TV watching cartoons and playing MegaMan until my mom forced me outside are fond childhood memories.

Well technically the best team is impossible to tell from a chart since not all teams play each other and different divisions/schedules are more or less difficult. Take the chiefs having the hardest schedule into account and nothing on this changes but it makes it more impressive their offense was able to make up for their lack of defense. Doesn't matter how you win just if you win and if you win when it matters.

This is one of my biggest pet peeves in books well in movies and TV shows for that matter as well but at least in movies and shows it doesn't last that long. Having to read 20 pages about it drives me nuts. Like how Hank loves Gretta the misfit from the upper class town who would rather dance all night than have fancy cocktail parties with the other elites. What makes it worse is "Does she hold a dark secret?" And no, she doesn't just wanted to throw the misdirection at you to make her charecter feel more important.

I feel like action movies do stupid things that leave a bad taste in my mouth.

Kingsmen has the weird "we can do it in the asshole " comment at the very end.

Or more recently Bullet train with the last words Pitt says being about needing to take a shit.

Holidays also make me think of It's a wonderful life. He is planning suicide after going on an abusive rampage, then everyone in town in Christmas Eve comes and gives him money? Unless you buy into the theory he actually did jump and this is a hallucination or he is dead and that's his heaven then it doesn't make sense and isn't a satisfy ending. The town went nuts earlier because they couldn't empty their accounts now they are donating all their money to this guy who just lost all of his... Just lost it bye bye "okay let's give him all our money but just to him."
