They are so frickin solid though. They'd have to really shit the bed to not make it into the finals.

Is complaining your middle name or just what you do for a job? Ahh, there it is, it should be your last name then. Like how people took on names according to their profession.

Interesting quote, on the surface of it, but isn't boredom a symptom of a person's lack of focus or rather ambition or inability to tame their own mind? Sounds like the person who said this is bored a lot and needs external stimuli to factor into their "passion". At any rate, boredom likely comes before passion so it's a necessary prerequisite. I'm fun at parties.

I do too for workouts, the sugar helps with some quick energy and metabolizing the electrolytes but it really isn't all that high in potassium. It gives bare minimum but a banana is better.

They are nowhere near the same stifled, crippled and depressed society they once were; the political alliances, economic prosperity, diplomatic lines drawn and sovereign superpowers are nearly all different, in modern times, besides US hegemony (which could be waning, depending on perspective taken).
I think we are very far off, if at all, from a Nazi-Germany repeat of history, it doesn't really make sense in this climate.

IMO, it's overkill how they try and be as vigilante as you say. Lot's of contextual reasons led to Hitler's rise as the fuhrer and while he maintained his ardent supports the populace as a whole likely started regretting it and he also seized power, really.
They were initially downtrodden, humiliated and stifled by clauses from Treaty Versailles and someone came to them claiming birth right cultural and heritage pride and to be prosperous once again, to be fair it sounded good. I'm not an apologist, well, actually I might be for most of the people, it happens to the best of us and will again too.

What I will say is that it is setup in a way whereby it maintains health and not sickness prevention. The internet said something like 70% of people are overweight which is the western diet, it's called SAD (standard American Diet) and it is just that. We need a re-education and more affordable, healthy food options.

I only see it as ineffecient right now b/c there seems to be a doctor shortage ( I use the term loosely, it's not in dire straights but there could be more white coats) which delays patient visits and keeps the supply for healthcare controlled which is also why it is expensive. The access to it though is superior than most countries. Border hospitals in the northern US like Seattle, for example, will service many Canadian patients who dont' want to wait 1 yr for a procedure.

More seasonally related but I've come to really not enjoy peak Summer's as much. The 10 year old in me is bitching and moaning but they truly aren't enjoyable, Fall is the best what with the temperment climate and leave colors but probably some of the most blissful days happen in the winter with soft snow covered ground, clear skies with sunshine, no wind and maybe a balmy 20F. That's when you go for a nature hike or run outside or ice fish.

All this seems to fly in the face of something like Bayer aspirin that says it helps to reduce heart attacks and can be prescribed a small dose daily to aid in continued blood flow.

Isn't a terminal rate of 5.5% peanuts compared to what it's been historically the last 50 years? I see this as a stabalizing rate, no more free money circulating and should weed out non-robust businesses.
